What must have gone into creating it. I loved going over it…

Yes, it is hard to imagine the construction in the depths of the bay to sink the supports for the bridges….that boggles my mind.
Thanks for stopping in.

You can definitely cross either bridge when you get to it 🙂
I always feel a thrill as I drive over the Bay Bridge into the City. And going over the Golden Gate either way feels like a dream….never gets old (of course, I don’t have to do it in commute hours).

Growing up, the Golden Bridge and the Statue of Liberty served as a beacon of hope for me and millions of Filipinos who wished for a better life. Though things didn’t really turn out the way I dreamt of what life in America is, looking at this images still reminds me that I can be anything I dream to be in this country, that includes starting all over and moving on. It is after all the land of the free…and the brave.

That is the beauty of life here, being able to reinvent yourself whenever you wish. It takes a lot of bravery to start over sometimes, but sometimes that’s what it takes to reach happiness.
Hope you and your family are well.

Beautiful. Oh my. Your post just reminded me of the black and white photos taken in the 1930’s when San Francisco Bridge was being constructed. I think it is in Yahoo today – I will look for it and post the link here when I see it again. 🙂
