Flower Friday~Pride of Madeira

Also known as Butterfly Bush. I notice around here they attract bees as well. The flower stalks are large, and are amazing to see on a large bush.

    That’s a beauty, alright. I think that would make a nice addition to anyone’s landscape.

      I was reading up on it, and apparently they are considered invasive and being taken out of state parks. Here in Benicia they are well maintained and really are beautiful to see in the parks and in people’s gardens.
