I think she keeps expecting that I will…but I don’t. I have a concern that if the horse should get sick, the owners would think I fed it something bad. She is just so full of life…she actually kind of scared me as she bolted out of her stall when she saw me (I’ve made several visits), she was so joyful galloping around the little field and coming over to me. I really had a worry she was gaining momentum to jump the fence 🙂
She lives in a little shed right next to the owner’s house, and I see him out riding her now and then. I just decided I’m going to print this photo to take to him and see If he’ll agree to some photos while he’s out riding.
Such a beautiful animal, Angeline, and your photo does him justice. Nicely done.

Do you arrive bearing carrots (or apples)? 🙂 Seriously, Angeline – she looks so alert and alive!

I can imagine! Poor thing, though I can imagine how pleased she is to see you, Angeline, she’s probably lonely 🙂

The face of the horse is like a painting, Angeline. I like the blurry background. Great photo!

Thanks, Amy. I was out practicing shutter speed and aperture and this is the first time the blur I wanted worked!
