Living in the High Desert, at first glance I thought it was a tumbleweed. I like the coconut better. š

We have tumbleweed here in the country area I live in too…and definitely the coconut wins!
Thanks for stopping in!

I wouldn’t know it’s a coconut! Lovely shot.

Thanks! The green outer shell has been stripped away and I guess eventually the long “hairs” come off too. Or at least that’s my take on it.

A plain old coconut in the natural setting, fresh in from the ocean. The are a piece of art.

Thanks! I really did see it in black and white initially, even though it wasn’t.

Now, if it had just found itself washed into a cranny up beyond the water mark this one would be a good candidate to hatch! Terrific shot Angeline š

Thanks, M. I’m surprised it wasn’t washed up further; the surf was really rough the whole time we were there. Red flag almost every day.

Maybe that’s the reason – it’s being drawn back down the beach by a strong back tow? But it’s a beauty – all shaggy and matted by the elements š

That has to be why it hadn’t made it up any further. Incredible surf. And it is a beauty.

I thought from the title I was going to see the photo of a pet named Coco. Surprise! :-). I love the texture and lines in this Nd the lines on the sand as well.

š Coco is what a coconut is called in Spanish (can also jokingly call your head that, which is what mine looks like in the mornings).
Thanks!

Thanks, Sally. It was almost black and white already, but the change over, and a little Snapseed, really brought out the sand. Happy Phoneography Monday to you too!
