Isn’t it amazing that the sun shines on a metal stick during the day that has a solar thingy in it, and generates light in to such lovely shapes?
I took the photo above from an upstairs bedroom window last night. I took the photo below today, while the stick was busy storing up energy for tonight’s light show.

When I first looked at the opening picture I was completely puzzled. What had you photographed this time? Then I read the text and realized you had made a mind thrilling and great picture. Of course, that’s what it is! I love it, particularly alongside the regular daylight picture which puts it all in perspective. What an inspiring take one the days’ photographic theme.
