My iPhone 6Plus was used for this photo, and for many of my photos while I was in San Miguel. I tend to use Camera+ consistently, edit with those filters and for this entry in Sally’s Photo Challenge, I also used PicMonkey to adjust exposure and temperature. I’m pretty sure had I wrestled my DSLR out of my bag and got that set I would have missed this photograph as I walked down the street on the way to the evening’s festivities; this was my first evening in the downtown area and I was stunned, feeling like I had walked into a surreal place and time. A photograph to help me remember the wonders of stepping outside of my comfort zone, the wonders of travel.

Wow, Angeline, what a wonderful shot! I have to try Camera+, but I have a number of iPhone/iPad apps and tend to do everything on my laptop with Picasa instead. 🙂 Super job!

The scene was so perfectly set with the colors and the sun coming from behind the Indian dancer. Thanks, K!

Hola, Nicole. I’m OK. It’s still a day to day process with up and down feelings of grief. I am slowly moving forward, and using photography a lot as therapy.

Angeline, the image has such details in the feathers and yet has an impressionistic feel to it. The colors are captivating, especially against the natural color of the clay wall. Your description is apt for the discovery. Happy Photo Challenge.
