The Sunday Traveler thought to share a beach day on a wonderful sunny day here in wonderful Northern California. I hope your corner of the world has some nice weather today, too.
Wind is a usual factor on our beaches here, and cold temperatures also, but not the cold this day on Rodeo Beach, a part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area in Marin County. Another plus for the Sunday Traveler is that getting here for me involves a drive over the Golden Gate that will never cease to amaze me, and make my heart sing.
Part of the beach is sheltered by cliffs, and huge craggy rocks.
The beach is perfect for relaxing against a huge piece of driftwood, and apparently perfect too for Tai Chi, good for people watching here.
Wishing you all a day at the beach.
Thanks for the trip looks like a beautiful day for it. Haven’t been over there in a while.

It’s so close but so far, or it seems so. Crossing one bridge or the other makes places seem so much further than they are. I need to get over that. Thanks.

I was the same way, but recently met someone who crosses those bridges like they aren’t even there, and I’m lucky to have met that someone.

My daughter lived over there until recently and her husband commutes every day. Impressive.

Did you seen any bucking broncos or bullriding at this beach?
