Not your usual photo of San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge. While most people are getting those expansive views, there are those working to maintain the massive structure. Complex and incredible work.

Nice photo, Angeline. As beautiful as the view is from the top of the bridge, or on a cable, I was always thrilled whenever I was working underneath it. That spot between heaven and hell always put a lump in my throat until I got back on the sidewalk.

We parked at a lower parking lot to walk up to walk on the bridge, and from one of those vantage points along the path I was able to zoom in when I saw the men working inside the structure. zoom zoom.

This was the most special day to walk around and on the bridge for my first time even though I’ve lived in the Bay Area for forty years.
