The season of Lent approaches; but first, lets have a carnival, living life in color.
Photo taken with iPhone 6Plus, edited with Enlight in their artistic filters.
The last Monday of each month in Sally D’s mobile photography challenge is a free pass to the photographer’s photo of choice (the other Mondays are for nature, macro, black and white). Visit Sally’s blog here.

That is quite a photo that stands out like a scream. I really enjoy the intensity of the colours and the somewhat more subtle patterns and textures.

Thanks, Otto. Your comment made me laugh (the scream part). I sometimes Ike to really color outside the lines 🙂

Angeline, thanks for the exuberant colors, which bring me joy to be sure. Happy Photo Challenge.

I was more than happy to bring a burst of color into the days. It’s all too easy to become discouraged and slip into darkness. My goal this Lenten season is not to give something up as penance, but to add something colorful, imbued with life and joy.
