Sun streaking through remaining leaves that have turned to gold, a final goodbye prayer of love to the world.
Photo taken with an iPhone 6Plus in Camera+, and edited with the Dreamstate filter, followed by a little edit in Pixlr and PicMonkey to get to what I had in my mind’s eye as I walked by, glanced up into the sun, and saw this.
Have a visit with Sally for more entries in today’s challenge.
Timing is everything, Angeline, and you sure timed this capture perfectly. It’s a real beauty!

It is a photo that sort of lives rather than just is. Love it Angeline.

Thanks, Julie. I don’t think I’d take as many photos if I didn’t have my phone. I truly love seeing what I can do with mine.

I don’t know how much of that is as it was and how much is editing, but it’s a glorious photo. When I see shots of the beams of light shining down from the a rift in the clouds, I always think of the pictures depicting the glory of God. This has the same feel and thus the perfect title.

Oh, Janet, thank you so much! It is a feeling I have with this photo too. The glory of God and this world we’ve been given. The actual photo is pretty much this, just flatter, and needed a little amp in the color, which is what I edited.

Angeline, I really enjoy the effects and your vision of the scene. It has an old world feel, and invites me to explore the architecture inside. Well done. Happy Photo Challenge.

Thank you, Sally. Actually you’re not far off about the old world feel; I took this in Benicia, here in NorCal, a quaint little old time town. I do have to go in next time I’m there too see the architecture inside.
