In the very early morning hours, while it’s still dark, I meditate on the nightlight gracing a bedside table that sends out light and shadow throughout the room.

It is, Allan. Soothing to turn it on at night to get my mind calm, and then turning it off in the morning after a little meditation to start my day.

It’s a beautiful still life. It feels alive and I can feel the people living in this place. I love the duotone you have applied in the processing.

Thank you, Otto. The more I look at the mermaid with the reflecting light on her right side, the more it seems she is alive, and just resting there on top of that shell of light.
