Working off an iPad for the first time can be a challenge unto itself. Bear with me as I test it as I prepare to travel to Mexico next month with this iPad and my iPhone (that I’ve never been able to use for posting to WordPress successfully).
Photo taken with my iPhone 6Plus and edits in Snapseed.
Have a visit with others in the challenge at Lens and Pens by Sally. Figuring out how to add a link here is next on the learning curve.
Enjoy your time in Mexico and am sure you will fun with your iPhone! WP is not exactly the most mobile friendly site and I can’t understand why this issue hasn’t been addressed, it’s truly a pain. Meanwhile Instagram and Tumblr operate as smooth as butter!

Thanks, Patti. I’m not banking on WordPress for posting via mobile anything. But I hadn’t even stopped to consider Instagram presenting any problems. Good to hear that it’s smooth. I plan to use Instagram as my go-to for updating the treasures I know I will find in San Miguel. I’m really liking Instagram as just photography and not a lot of words.

Know exactly what you mean about liking Instagram and the fewer words. See you and your treasures over there!

I can’t believe you captured this with your iPhone. It’s fantastic! I consider it well shot if I manage to keep the phone still while taking the photo. I hope you have a wonderful time in Mexico, Angeline.

Exciting stuff, Angeline. I took photos for quite some time with my iPad before getting the iPhone. Photos are great, but I never liked trying to post to WP from either iPad or iPhone. Have a great trip!

Thanks, Nicole. I will try to post every now and again while I’m there, but realistically, I think I will probably just be posting photos on Instagram.

How exciting that you are going to Mexico for a month. Your image is a burst of enthusiasm for nature’s wonders. I like the impressionistic character of it. Happy Photo Challenge.

Thanks, Sally. Today is the second day of early spring-like weather, and everything is bursting open into bloom. I am beyond myself with excitement on this trip, I’ve been wanting to go to volunteer for a few years now.

Sally, I’ll finally be living a dream I’ve had for a few years now. I’ll be volunteering at Casa de los Angeles (house of angels), taking care of children ages newborn to four years of age, that are left at this day care center during the day, that is for single moms, so that they can go to their jobs, otherwise, they would either leave their children home with poor care, or not be able to work at all. The moms pay the center back by giving one hour back to the center for each day their child is cared for. So, it’s a trade in time, not money. I’ll be assigned to a “classroom” to help the teacher/or caregiver for that group of kids, to help feed them, groom them, and play with them on the playground, and go with them on nearby outings. The center has turned in to not only childcare, but a food and clothing bank for the families who are very poor. The poor people of Mexico are near and dear to my heart, having grown up there and watching an aunt of mine, who I called the Mother Teresa of Guadalajara, do so much for the poor in that area. http://www.casadelosangeles.org/

I blog from my ipad using Blogsy, works pretty easily, the icons are not quite intuitive, but… One really handy thing is the card reader, well if you use a camera. If you are using your iphone for photos you need to sync the two so your fotos cross over. Where in MX are coming? I live in Merida!

Thanks, Debi. I will have to check out Blogsy. I have already synced my iPhone with the iPad and have the photos from my phone on my iPad; I find that feature wonderful! I wish I could get down as far south as Merida, maybe next trip. I’m going to be in San Miguel de Allende to volunteer at Casa de los Angeles.
