Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge ~ Footprints in The Sand

beachfootprints2

Walking the beach a couple of weeks ago I came upon these fascinating imprints in the sand; there were multiple. I’m just guessing they are from seaweed that was brought in with the tide, then pulled out again. If someone knows what they are from, I’d love to know. In the meantime, I’m just once again in awe of nature and the wonderful mystery that it can be.

were they “walking” down the beach like footprints….or just all alone like this? are those your toes next to it? it’s about the size of a foot, eh?

No, that’s not my footprint. And interesting the foot is going one way, and it is a solitary foot, not a pair, and the other (if a sneaker), it is going the other way and is a single. Hmmm….

  4. I’m wondering if those leaflike prints is a fancy sneaker sole? So someone had one shoe on and one off? How much fun. ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. I hate to be prosaic, Angeline, but the lower on appears to me to be the print of a bare foot, while the top one seems to be most of a print made by an athletic shoe. ๐Ÿ™‚ The clarity, though, is great and I love the photo.

  7. Angeline, they are mysterious. I wonder what would make such intricate shapes. Hard to believe that they are footprints. Hope that someone knows more about them. Happy Photo Challenge.

  8. That’s one strange pair of prints, especially the neatness of them.
