Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge ~ Nature Up High

The foggy sea, a respite from the dried grasses and parched land in the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area.

Photo taken with iPhone 6Plus, no editing done.

    Lovely cool blue tones Angeline!

  3. Beautiful image, Angeline. 🙂

  4. Close to the sea…life seems more peaceful, relaxing, happier…
Wonderful picture…hope to see San Francisco this Summer even just for one day.

Thanks, IT. It is more peaceful by the sea, I so agree. Even one day in San Francisco is good; you won’t be sorry you stayed the day. And it may lure you back for more later 🙂

  5. It’s a lovely image. I am surprised that it’s not processed as it has a look of old days with faded colours and a tinted appearance.

I had to go and double check. The photo is out of my native camera. I think the fog and sun behind that drape made for a wonderful outcome with my photos that day. Thanks for your visit Otto.

Beautiful, soothing photo. Thank you for sharing! Hopefully the weather improves soon.

  10. A beautiful photo, Angeline. How do you like the camera in your new phone? Ω

  11. Nice .. I’m loving my iPhone 6 😃

  12. Angeline, I understand how peaceful it must be here and how refreshing. We found the coast along Highway 1 fairly green, but the central valley was burnt everywhere it wasn’t irrigated. I would love to send you some of our rain!

  14. Your monochromatic capture has a moody and thought-provoking patina. With your drought it must be soothing to walk the shoreline. I really wish that I could send you some rain clouds to fill the landscape and your spirit. Happy Photo Challenge.
