Sally D’s Mobile Photography Challenge ~ Nature Tucked In Glass

mexturesterrareumandsnapseed2

A terrarium filled with wonder. An almost magical looking glass to see the miniature of the family that surrounds it on the outside.

Photo taken with iPhone 6Plus, and edited in Mextures and Snapseed.

Thanks to Sally Donatello for sponsoring this mobile photography challenge every Monday.

The curiosity of the items in this capture makes me want to wander in. It also makes me want an iPhone 6! Awesome composition and execution.

I had to move a few orchid blossoms out of the way to get in there; felt like I was going into a jungle. I’ve only recently gotten my iPhone 6, and love it. Thanks, Lita.

Hi, Nadine. Would you believe this was in the floral department of my local grocer’s? I was whizzing past with my cart and almost got whiplash when I saw this tucked away behind the orchids. I’m glad you like it, thanks.

  7. Angelina, your image gives me a feeling of calm and introspection. Probably it’s because it has that vintage characteristic. Glad that you are using textures. I’ve come to like it’s choices and possibilities for some images. Although I am a purist, it is marvelous when the digital darkroom offers a photograph another layer that works. Happy Photo Challenge.

Thank you, Sally. I love editing a photo to bring out more of the feel I have for the scene when I take the photo. I too consider myself more a purist, and usually use light editing. Have a great week.
