Sheep hanging on a hillside. In Northern California, the hills are alive, and oh so green. This photo was taken a couple of weeks ago as we drove through a pass in San Francisco’s East Bay.

I’ve seen places like that in Wyoming, where cattle and fences seem to be stuck to the sides. I’d hate to try to put fence in them!

Yup, the cattle hang on here too. The fences around here are way down at road level, so they have lots of room to roam.
