So much to like about this photo, Angeline. The subject, the angle, the setting, and light. Everything cooperated to give you a great capture. Well, I guess that eye of yours had something to do with it. 🙂 Well done!
Thank you so much John. I so love photography.
It shows. 🙂
This is one of the most gorgeous photos -ever!!!! Love it!
Thank you, CM!!! You always make my day with your visits 🙂
I just visited Chinatown…but can’t leave any comments Angeline. Boo hoo, because I loved it all.
Thanks, Jo. Glad you like it! It was such a fun little while in Chinatown that day. One of those rare ones in San Francisco when it was sunny and fairly warm.
Very pretty Angeline!
A beautiful image, all being about forms and shapes, lights and shadows. You have made a delightful abstraction of something that otherwise is very tangible.
Thanks so much, Otto. It is so gratifying to be able to push something a little bit into abstraction’s realm.
Just beautiful – wow!!
Thank you! I appreciate your words, and the support you’ve been giving me here.
The vision I have of you climbing through a neighbours garden…precious
Anything now days to get the shot I want. I scare myself sometimes 🙂
The lighting of this photo is perfect, made a very special capture!
Thanks Amy. I’m beginning not to believe that old photography adage about how bad mid day light is for shooting photos.

Thank you so much for the pingback! Very much appreciated.
Aren’t they fabulous flowers? I used to have one in my Sydney garden, a couple of lives ago … Beautifully captured, Angeline 🙂
They are my favorite flower! I had two huge bushes in my garden at our last home. I found this bird in a neighbor’s front yard. I was climbing into the banana plants to get to it. God, the neighbors are going to have me evicted from this neighborhood one day 🙂
Thanks, M. Hope you’re having a good weekend.
Very nice . It is almost an abstract image.
Thanks, Vera. I’ll have to post another shot or two that I got of this birdie.
This is one of my favourites!
Thank you! I could hardly see how I had things composed on my phone screen because of the sun’s glare on the screen. I’m glad you like it.
