Purple breaks out in front
red not far behind
green with envy
A spot of yellow
a dash of white
a brush of black
Wow Angeline, fabulous colors and haiku too!! Love this post.
Thanks, Jann. Nature is so wonderful!
I am totally amazed! Great post, Angeline!
Thanks so much, Amy.
Beautiful just what was needed to break through this rainy day 🙂
Thanks! Glad this could brighten up your day.
Lovely strong colors!

Thank you, Hans!
Wonderful, vibrant colours! This certainly opens the eyes!
Thanks, Mike. These colorful flowers demanded my attention; nothing subtle about them.
this really made me smile Angeline…thanks I needed that this morning
Glad I could help Ms. Mermaid 🙂
brilliant colour, great focus!
Thanks Christine. This phone of mine is a keeper!
I don’t have one, and the iPad is a bit unwieldy for photos although they work well … maybe I can try my husbands new ‘modern’ phone one day!
Try your husband’s phone, and you’ll want one 🙂
OK, will do!
A feast for the eyes … super colorful !!! XD
Thanks Isadora. They definitely got my attention!
Pansies have some of the richest colors. maybe it’s because they’re panted so early in the season, when so much is still brown and gray. Nice paring with the red tulips (?), Angeline. Quite striking.
Pansies are so hardy, and do start out spring in a great way. I think that was a red tulip in the back. The direct sun was like a spotlight on this planter of flowers and just amped up the color.
Oh wow, what beautiful colors!
Thanks, Lisa. I can take only so many black and white and then I need a color infusion.
I feel the same way. 🙂
Wow, what a wonderful blast of color Angeline!
Thanks, Patti. I took that at noonish o’clock in full sun; it just popped!
Thanks A&D! Hope you’re getting lots of sun and color where you are now.
We’re in sunny Cyprus recovering from our South American Odyssey. We spend days doing nothing but reading/sleeping/reading/watch a movie/read a little more/have a snooze 🙂 it’s lovely. I was completely captivated with the brazen colour in these photos. There’s not much colour here but the brilliant blue of the Mediterranean.
I love brilliant blue, especially when it relates to the Mediterranean 🙂
Glad you liked the “in your face” color….I needed that shot of bright today.
Keep on keeping on; your current schedule sounds very appealing.
Too bad I do not have a phone that can do that … these images are beautiful !
Thank you Vera! I have fun seeing what I can coax out of my phone’s camera. I am slowly figuring out my Samsung Galaxy phone.
Spectacular!! Reminds me of a painting of course – your photos keep getting better and better!
Thanks Jo!! You’ve just made my day.
Just gorgeous Angeline! I love the colors!!!
Thanks Nicole. After doing quite a bit of work in black and white lately, I needed a dose of color!
Nice poem and cool shots to go with it!
