There is no denying spring here in Northern California
sheep on alert
The sheep are out munching on the new spring greenery brought to us by a benevolent Mother Nature, who has graced us with a few spring showers in the last couple of weeks.
We all best enjoy this before the spigot is turned off for the long dry summer ahead.

Knowing you and your penchant for cooking, I’m thinking that I should interpret your comment as the lambs in your neck of the woods need to frolic right into your oven for a succulent leg of lamb dish 🙂

You should be seeing the little lambs go Boi-oi-oi-oing! in the air right about now. I love that. When I take my mid western husband home to Ireland, I am always amazed by how entranced he is by sheep. He can’t get over how they all look at him in unison. And he looks back…and I have to interrupt them! Guess they don’t have many sheep down Ohio way…

The little lamblets are indeed hopping all around the fields having great fun. The larger ones just got shorn (is that a word?), and look naked now compared to the photos I just posted. The sheep on the emerald green hills of Ireland must be lovely!
