Old but still beautiful, I bet the travels and adventures was all worth it.

She is definitely still a beauty. I think I sort of relate me to her in the travels and adventures well worth it all. Thanks for stopping to comment.

This was a wonderful, albeit a bit sad, challenge. Great shot of the truck, Angeline, but one cannot help but wonder about its past “life”.

It was a kind of sad challenge. This truck, though abandoned, makes me happy. I’d like to think it traveled up and down these back roads among the farms and fields, hauling produce and goods. It’s a beautiful area.

Yes, you and Rick both are on the same page for this challenge.
I remember that it was a lot of fun to play in old, abandoned cars when I was a kid (it might be fun still, but I must admit that I haven’t tried it lately.) 😀

I couldn’t believe it when I opened his post up. I think if I could have gotten inside this truck, I would have 🙂

Love that peep through the sagging door! 🙂

I had to pry the door open to get the shot; that’s as far as I could get it without fear of the door falling off. Thanks.

Some good captured images here. One suggestion: In the first image, I would either move to a different direction to eliminate the telephone wires in the image or used post processing to get rid of the slightly distraction.

I don’t know why I have a thing for these old trucks. I would really, really like to buy one.

It would be a labor of love! Takes time and big $$$$ , lots of people do it here. I helped my dad rebuild a 1932 Ford Flathead into a record breaking car in 1/4 mile. I was 10 or something but they are strong memories!

an old beauty Angeline, you have captured all the best of her, the graceful curves, pleasing old paint and delicate rusting patches 🙂

Always sad to see these old beauties faded and rusting . . ..

It is, except it just seems to add to the beauty for me. If the glass was intact, and the seating, I would drive this thing as is.

Not too much of a re-do! Just a little here and there would do it for me.

These are gorgeous shots. I especially love the second one; the colours and textures make me think of painting rather than photography.

Thanks, Su. I would love to sit out in the field and make a painting of this truck….if I knew how to do that.
