A long weekend away. I have not been able to download a post from my Nook as I did in Mexico. I think I’ve just found a backdoor in. We will see.

Look! Green!!! It’s so nice to see a green landscape. It cannot get here soon enough. Thanks for the reminder, Angeline.

I have thought of Chicago in last few days, and wondering how everyone there is surviving. I cannot begin to imagine. Hope you are keeping that stove cranking out wonderfully warms food…and drink.

Ah, Angeline, don’t you think a real wilderness hideaway needs to offer a complete escape – even from our beloved blogs?! 🙂

You are absolutely right! It should, and I need to be more strict with myself and pull the plug. I did do a lot of thinking over the weekend; I’ve got all kind of projects I want to work on, and I will be pulling back a little bit more from the blog world, otherwise I could spend all day, every day reading blogs.

I found that too, Angeline and the move and my present internet problems have been an ideal time to pull back a bit. So glad you had time for reflection and inspiration to concoct new projects … this is such an exciting time of your life 🙂

It is just starting to open up. I plan to participate in the weekly phoneography challenge because that is always so interesting to read Sally’s posts; she brings a lot of good information to an area of photography that intrigues me. The internet issues over this weekend, and to some extent in Mexico, were a good knock up the side of the head, as they say, to autocorrect my priorities 🙂

It is a joy to the eyes! The bad part is that there was minimal snow on the sides of the highway and under the trees at elevations where there should have been a lot. I noticed a lot of pines with drying boughs.
