Of Sunsets and Christmas Trees

decembersunset

Oh Christmas tree adorned

by sunset skies

how richly God has decked thee

~~~
Last line from one of the versions of the Christmas carol, O Tannenbaum,  written by Ernst Anschutz.
I took this photo last evening from a bedroom window. Enjoying the splendor of this universe. I’ll be gone again for a little while. I have a date with my doctor tomorrow to have my gallbladder removed; as Gilda Radner said so eloquently….It’s always something!
Wishing you all a Merry Christmas, and happy holidays with your loved ones.
    Wonderful photo, even if I’ll have “O, Tannenbaum” playing in my head for the rest of the day. 🙂
    I hope your surgery is successful and your recovery speedy.
    Have a wonderful Christmas, Angeline, and may every happiness come your way in 2014
      Thank you, Alison. I’ve been on a strict no fat/grease diet for over a month (that part messed up the Mexico trip somewhat not being able to eat the tacos unless they were grilled fish/shrimp)…but I’m doing this now so I can hopefully enjoy a Christmas tamale or two! And travel without fear of a flare up.
      Happy holidays to you and Don!!!
