Weekly Photo Challenge: Horizon

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Looking out on the horizon off Kauai.

I’ve only looked at a couple of others posts on the challenge so far, varied and beautiful. I think there may be many on this aspect of the horizon, but it is what calls to me and what I immediately think of when I think of a horizon.

  1. This looks like a painting. The surfers look like they were painted in at just the right moment.
Sparkling water showcases the hour. I like this one a lot.

Love this photo. I have seen the same scene on the Oregon coast. They are like ants dotting the water everywhere.

  9. An endless horizon, Angeline – it’s shots of the sea like this that give credence to the ancients’ fear of dropping off the end of the world! Love the board activity in your scene – I’ve been struck by how many standing boarders we have here now – a new development since I lived here before. I’m popping back to catch up – it seems ages since I caught your daily posts 🙂

Stand Up Paddle (SUP) is all the rage in Hawaii, it looks like fun. Ha! I hadn’t thought of looking out at a horizon like this and falling off the end of the world thoughts from the past…so true.
Hope you are settling in and getting comfy in the new abode.
