The Earth is Our Mother

A light wind swept over the corn, and all nature laughed in the sunshine. ~Anne Bronte

“The great spirit is our father, but the earth is our mother.
She nourishes us; that which we put into the ground she returns to us ~Bedagi, “Big Thunder” of the Wabanakis Nation

I’ve decorated a basket on our front door to remind family and visitors of the abundance Mother Earth has provided for us
