Phoneography Challenge: The Architecture of San Francisco’s MOMA

Taking the lead from Sally at Lens and Pens, I’ve chosen the architecture of San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art to also display how light infused into a building like this can only serve to inspire creativity.

Lighting sets the mood to be inspired as you enter the museum.

I reached back into my iPhone 4s files for these photos, no editing done.

I’ll see if I can get there when I go back to Cali. The affogato sounds inviting. πŸ˜€

  4. The last one is interestingly complex with the shadows πŸ™‚

There is so much involved in that last one, what with the light, shadows, and lines. I kept going back to look at that before I actually went into one of the galleries to see the art I had gone to see.

Fantastic abstract shots Angeline and thank you so much for the lovely memories of this magical place!

(The cafe does the best Affogato ever!!)

  9. Great shots Angeline – light is everything πŸ™‚
Museum of Modern Art in SF is on my list of places I would love to visit one day!

  10. Great looking set. Well captured and defined with your iPhone 4S.

  11. Amy says:

These are even better than the Phoneography you did last week!

  12. I like the last one best. Today seems to be a San Francisco day–three of us with SF photos so far. πŸ™‚ It’s a photogenic city.

    • Angeline M says:

That last one with all the lines and shadows does stand out πŸ™‚
San Francisco is just one of those cities that is a photographer’s paradise. And it’s constantly changing.

  14. Nicely done–I like the second the best with its pure abstraction. Happy Phoneography.
