At the corner of Hapa, WeliWeli, and Stop, on the island of Kauai’s South Shore.
Did you enjoy Kauai? Did you go to any of the other islands? I was born and raised on Maui…my husband’s from Oahu. Our daughter’s from…Connecticut. We live in the Seattle area now.
We love Kauai!!! We’ve been going to the islands since about 1980, at least every couple of years (then we start getting the reverse of island fever and have to go back). We’ve been to Kauai, Oahu, and Maui. It’s been a long time since we’ve been on Maui, though. We seem to alternate between Kauai and Oahu, loving both equally. As we came home from Oahu last December, with a layover in Maui, we were thinking it was time to go there again. We took our oldest grandson with us this last trip to get him started on loving Hawaii as we do. I have posts sprinkled throughout my blog on some of the trips. This coming late November we’re going to Mexico, but after that we have to go to Hawaii (I have a free flight on Hawaiian with rewards points).
I had a feeling you were from Hawaii 🙂
Hope your daughter gets to go back and visit often.
glad I am not on that tour … it can only end at the abattoir 😦
I felt like sneaking up to the back of that truck and opening the gate to let them out 🙂
Wonderful shot with a lot of feeling. The title intrigued me and then I saw the shot. Well done.
Thanks, Ruth. I couldn’t help but think of all the tours going around the island.
I hope they arenot going where I think they are going…still it is a great shot Angeline
I like to think they were just out for a little ride to get some fresh air.
That’s a heavy load of live animals. I love how you tilted the frame, makes it look like the trailer is about to tip over from the weight. Hope they enjoyed the bus ride!
Thanks, Otto. I have to go back and look at that photo…I don’t remember that I tilted the frame 🙂
That’s one tour the professor would want to miss!
And we were stuck behind the tour bus.
