The Forgotten Fabbri

Back at the end of June, and first couple of days in July, I posted photos from Fabbri Statuary  here in Northern California.  This one final photo I have worked with over time, changing it from black and white to sepia to Snapseed tweaks, and was just never happy with it; and so it sat in the file waiting. I took a look at it today, and what a surprise, I like it just as it is.  Sometimes the best thing is to just let a photo be.

Sometimes we get so caught up in tweaking we miss the beauty that is right there.

I’m with you and the others, Angeline. This piece benefits greatly from having such a vibrantly colored background. It’s enlivened by the green,

I think the green plants made the photo even more beautiful. Glad you used the original version.

  7. That’s how I feel about writing sometimes. Excellent photo. Must get that guy for the garden.
