The street is busy; always busy. Every day, every night, it doesn’t matter. It’s hotter than hell.
They rent cars at the airport. Do they know what the downtown Strip is like?
Crowded. Bumper to bumper. They honk. Doesn’t matter, not going anywhere. Learn from the school of Hard Rock and stand back
Let them entertain you
They’ve got whatever you want
Everyone has their schtick
What do they do when they’re not doing this?
What a collection of shots, not to mention the subjects in those shots! Forget paying $100 to see a show. Just find a seat on the Boulevard and watch the passing parade. Even Teller is watching in the background of your first shot. 🙂

Teller seems to be keeping an eye on things! The only advantage I can see to paying for a show vs the street show, is that the $100 show has air conditioning. I was not kidding when I was saying it was hotter than hell out there. Every time I go to Vegas I say I’m not going to walk down the Strip….BAM…I do it anyway, can’t resist that show.

Really good photos! I wonder, too…???
It’s been ages, not kidding, since I’ve been to Las Vegas, I bet everything has changed completely 😉
HAPPY Sunday! 🙂

We go to Las Vegas once a year for a conference my husband attends for work, and it changes from year to year. New casino hotels have gone up, and old ones remodeled. Seems like the only constant is the Strip.

IMO That is a place where people can impersonate somebody because they know not who they are and think that they have been to Egypt or Venice when they have seen the cardboard versions…

I refrained from taking photos of the gondoliers at the Venetian on the “canals”…..that is purely undignified and crass. You are so right in that the Vegas versions of Venice and Egypt are just kind of crazy; I would hope people know this is a charade. These street “artists” are just trying to make a few bucks to survive.

Yes of course you are right Angeline !! I was exaggerating and generalizing but I still believe that the dream of Las Vegas return goers is to be some body else…( or business brings them there more than once). Those who live and work there are probably like any other soul trying to earn a living in a tough world. You are right in that.

Yes, I think a lot of people go to get lost in the make believe.
