Weekly Photo Challenge: Foreshadow

Future Tech

Foreshadowing his world to come; a future techie it seems.

I saw this little boy in a mobile phone store, patiently waiting for his parents to make their purchase; they knew just what to give him to keep him occupied.

Indeed, the generations to come will take off somewhere on tech, but physically and spiritually could be left behind…

  2. It’s like they’re from another planet, really – Mo’s grand-daughter was operating her iPad before her 3rd birthday! 🙂

Perfect! And a stereotype of children across the globe today! My daughter rations her childrens time on their digital devices, and I enjoy witnessing the negotiations 🙂

My daughter keeps her two little boys quiet in the restaurant with two iPads 🙂
    Wonderful entry!

I love the shot and remember my son who was just like little boy…and still is today! No wonder why he went into a technology-related field! Thanks for a great post.

Thanks, Patricia. We were at the mall a couple of days ago, and I noticed so many really young kids inside the Apple Store playing with all the equipment out on display, iPads, iPods, PCs…they are something!

Great capture and effect, Angeline. I see images like this one and cannot help but wonder what sort of world he’ll inhabit. What will his children be given to keep them occupied?

    😀 Nice one, Angeline 🙂

  9. Great, It didn’t strike me that the theme can be interpreted this way to. And Nice picture of the kid and his gadget. The glow kinda makes it look dreamy. As if it’s a vision.

    Great interpretation of the challenge

It is crazy Angeline that we never had computers or grew up with the Internet and now my kids and your grand kids will know nothing different! Great entry!

I have noticed many children are kept occupied with tech devices – even I have done so 🙂
