Z is for Zest.
Frizztext‘s weekly alphabet challenge has added zest to WordPress blogs with an array of photographical depictions of the letter of the week. We’ve reached the end, we’ve tackled A through Z, and now you know your ABCs, at least from a photographer’s perspective. Thank you Frizz, for the weekly camaraderie; I’ve had a good time.
Pretty, vibrant shot. Coveting your Mexican plate 🙂

Yellow lemons just always take center stage in a food photo it seems. I still need to do a post on my Mexican plates and bowls….one day!

MMM … the smell of lemon zest is wonderful. I have a Meyer Lemon tree that produces the sweetest lemons. The scent of lemon zest is one of my favorties when cooking and in iced tea.
Great post for the challenge Frizz has been walking us through.

As I pull lemons off the three, I so enjoy the smell on my hands. Frizz has indeed walked us along a fun path.

the word ZEST (pure joy of living) is new for me (you know, I’m German). Thank you, Angeline, for participating from A to Z! Next week on Tuesday I’ll start with AAA again: Would you like another turn?

I’m glad I could introduce you to a new word, and I do know you’re German. I had a lot of fun with this, Frizz, trying to come up with something different each time. AAA? Wow! I’m not sure about starting over, but we’ll see 🙂

in Germany we say Z = Zitrone (=lemon);
I would like to see you again at AAA,
because A = Angeline, easy, isn’t it?

This is good, I am learning German from you! So you already did the work for me with A 🙂

Only right that the series should end with the last letter of “Frizz”. “Zest” was an imaginative response, Angeline, and the photo wonderful, as always.

Thanks, John. I had planned to use another word and scraped it at the last minute when I thought of zest. It is interesting that it ends with the last letter of Frizz’ name 🙂
