Thanks Rosemarie. Your Swiss geography caught my fancy because went I went to Italy in 2001, the first amazing thing I saw was from the plane as we flew over the alps prior to our landing in Bologna. Beautiful sight!

Gorgeous spider web, like old lace. The vine puts in mind of a sci-fi movie for some reason like a glimpse into another world. Pretty cool. 🙂

Thanks E.C. I couldn’t believe how the macro shot brought out the intricacies of the web. That vine smells like a sci-fi movie…not a scent I’m fond of 🙂

I’ve got a “5” and your fantastic photos are proof that I need to spend more time practicing with it. Your shots are beautiful, my arachnophobia notwithstanding. )

Thanks John. I haven’t done any research on the differences between the 4s and 5 camera, but it seems like the 5 would have some updates to it. I started working with mine because for about three months I had no other camera, an Olympus digital I had (and loved) died, and I couldn’t decide what I wanted. In the procrastination, I started using the iPhone camera.
Yeah, if the spider had made an appearance when I took that shot, the photo would have been very blurred from my jumping back.

  8. That spider’s web looks as if it’s been out in the rain – all tattered like an old woman’s hat net! And jasmine – spring’s definitely with you then! Those new iPhones – really, each time you post I’m impressed. It’s enough to make a girl decide to bite the bullet and shell out for the latest model! 🙂
