Color in the kitchen is how I had to reign in an overwhelming urge to run amok with this week’s challenge.

Fabulous colours! So envious of the gorgeous pottery that you have inherited π

Thank you Madhu. I love anything pottery, the pieces I have are such sentimental ones. I’ll be going to Mexico in late fall and I am already devising schemes on how to tuck new pottery finds into my suitcase without my husband catching on to all the pottery purchases π

Thanks Peter. I just recently took the photo of the eggplant and tomatoes, and then I started looking through my files and found the other photos I used in this post. The colors just jumped out at me. Thanks for stopping to comment.

Hummmmm….I remember once I read a book by Oliver Sacks..He is a neurologist who writes very interesting books..One of the stories was about a man that could not see colours…And the bad part was when trying to eat…Because everything was in grey and black and white…
I think Georgia OΒ΄Keeffe is very right…Specially when talking about food…!
I love to see the colours of the vegetables, and love to mix them on big salads…
Great pics!!!

I’ll have to check out Oliver Sacks, he sounds interesting. Not being able to see color would be such a loss, and it does so impact eating.
I just looked out the window at my back garden and can’t imagine not being able to see all the color. Thanks Ilargia, hope you have a good week.

A well-stocked market or vendor’s stall, filled with fruits and vegetables is such a treat for the eyes. Your photos are a reminder why. Nicely done, Angeline.

The vibrant colours of fresh fruit and vegetables – with a few Mexican pottery pieces thrown in the mix – is so enticing, Angeline, I suppose because you don’t just see them, you taste, smell and feel them too! Great response π

Thanks Ms. M! I’m going to have to do a post on the Mexican pottery pieces my Mom handed down to me.
