The path leading up to the community center where all the neighborhood mailboxes are. I walk here almost every day. I took this photo this evening when I went over for the mail; that gray to the right of the tower behind the tree is a fog bank rolling over the hills.
A field of mustard; it’s to the right of that tower in the first photo. I took this photo earlier today on my lunch time walk.
Such a beautiful neighbourhood you have. Does the tower have a purpose? I love the photo!

Thanks Jo. No, the tower is purely decorative. It has a rooster weathervane on the top that didn’t come out in the photo; I’ll have to post a photo of that.

Thanks Amy. I never tire of looking at that field. I know soon it will be gone as we go into summer.

Such a nice color to greet you on your walk, even more so since it is a harbinger of Spring.

It is indeed! I cannot take my eyes off that field when it’s in view during my walks.

I’m sure you can’t – especially now, in early spring.

Spring is the only time we have mustard, it will slowly die off as we go into summer and the heat frys it. Fried mustard…haha!
