It rained during the night; it looked like it would continue through the day, putting me in a funky kind of mood as I gazed out the window to the left of the hotel. My husband went downstairs to play poker in the casino; I settled in on the bed piled with pillows, wrapped myself in a comforter, and a stack of reading material, but the view out the window kept pulling me over.
Interesting how the view from right to left can be so different…..Over the weekend, I’ll wrap up the view, more beauty and just a little bit of grit.
If the entire World looked like the other window’s view, we wouldn’t appreciate it nearly as much, unfortunately.

Exactly! We need a little beauty here and there, but the gritty side had something that intrigued me. The textures, the color, the feelings conveyed by the people walking around there

Astonishing the different aspects of one place! 🙂

I swear, from one side to the other. The hotel didn’t think out the total location when they built 🙂
The surrounding mountains save the day.

Were things always so grim on the ‘gritty’ side, do you think?
