As long as they don’t get frost, or too much rain that would shock them, they’re probably in a little micro-climate with beautiful California sunshine – keep up the morning chats and don’t over-water them! 🙂
They are growing in an old wine barrel…that should tell us something, no? And they are up against a half wall, windows above, with another wall on one side. Afternoon sun. Yes! The perfect little climate in their corner of the world. 🙂
I love that you tell them they are beautiful…no wonder they keep blooming for you
That’s my quickie meditation spot. I go out, get dazzzled, and come reeling back into the house to the mundane.
That is so beautiful, and they bloom in winter 🙂
Thanks Amy. I planted them in the depth of summer and they just keep going (knock on wood).
Beautiful flowers that brightens Winters cold.
Thanks IT. They sure do brighten my world.
The colour makes the garden live..
It does..and me too, they make me so happy.
Pretty purples 🙂
Right outside my kitchen window!
Aren’t you lucky!
Yes indeed! I am!! The nights have been down into mid 20s, so I don’t know what is keeping these flowers going. Maybe because I go out and talk to them everyday, and tell them how beautiful they are. 🙂
