Destinations
1. the predetermined end of a journey or voyage
2. The ultimate end or purpose for which something is created or a person is destined
When we travel from place to place sometimes it’s a choice, but then, could it be destiny?

Beautiful Angeline!!!! I think there are moments for everything: for travelling to specific places, and for getting lost…Imagine a world without signs!

Gracias Ilargia. Signs definitely help us find our way…but then, sometimes I just use them as a suggestion, and go in the other direction. You sure can find neat stuff when you’re lost 🙂

Now I got a hankerin’ to go to Florence again. . . I really don’t need any more destinations! ;o)

I had way too little time there. Florence is enough of a destination. I doubt that I’ll ever get back….so take lots of photos when you’re there.

I tend to spend all my time in the Uffizi, hopefully I won’t embarrass myself in front of Birth of Venus. . . again.

I’m not even going to ask. But that is one of the best places to spend your time. I love the Birth of Venus.

That’s the beauty–you don’t have to ask. I’ll blog about it eventually. . .

Thanks Cee. There’s something about them that speaks to me about opportunities and adventure that exist in that direction.

once we decided, if we have a travel destination: it must be someone there, waiting for us in his house – never travel like a tourist into some emotional nowhere lands meeting only people making their contacts for money …

I love to travel into the unknown, meeting people along the way and the culture they are a part of, to learn first hand about the place I’m in.
Now, I’m thinking, is what you said part of a song?

Thanks M. I have a penchant for these kind of signs (as you can see) 🙂 ….oh, and btw, somewhere back a ways, one of your posts inspired me to finally pull out my prints from Italy to get them scanned. Thank you!
