Day 363; Birthdays

Party night tonight, and I’m barely making day 363 under the wire for posting today. Just getting back from a trip day before yesterday, and having a party tonight was pushing the proverbial envelope.

I grabbed my phone to take a few photos before the night was done.

The candles on the cake were lit, and if it seems like a bon fire….the cake and candles are for our triplets who were born on Thanksgiving day 39 years ago. We were on our way home from Hawaii on this Thanksgiving day, and celebrated tonight.

Happy Birthday to you, and you, and you!

Ha! When we found out it was triplets about six months into the pregnancy, we went through this very thing with coming up with names. We had all kinds of combinations πŸ™‚ It’s two identical boys and a girl……plus their older brother.

Wow! That is fascinating Angeline! So that means one egg separated into two to form the identical twins and then you had another one for your daughter! You could write quite a post about that! Do they all get along? I would love to know them! I don’t know any triplets but my cousins are identical twins and I grew up with them. πŸ™‚

Exactly. Standing at the nursery window, a nurse walked up behind me and mentioned that the daughter’s egg could have split as well, giving me quads….I almost fainted…but then again, what’s one more πŸ™‚ They all do get along, are very close.
