The Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki. Built in the late 19th century, is the first hotel of Waikiki. Per Wikipedia, the hotel architectural style is Hawaiian Gothic, and the architect was Oliver G. Traphagen. This is a hotel that has been lovingly restored, and not to be missed if you are on the island of Oahu.
Jake has given us this prompt for the day. http://jakesprinters.wordpress.com/2012/11/17/sunday-post-architecture/
Looks beautiful! First I am hearing of a ‘Hawaian Gothic’!

They have to have made that up! I have never heard of Hawaiian Gothic either. There is Hawaiian unto itself which is beautiful…but Hawaiian Gothic is ?????
