Day 343; In All Its Glory

Photos taken at High-Hand Nursery in Loomis, California, that is on the site of a 100-year-old fruit packing plant. The gardens are beyond beautiful, with trees, flowers, and plants. I will introduce the water features tomorrow, to be followed by a visit inside the huge warehouse that was the packing plant, now filled with shops and more plant displays. It couldn’t have been a better weekend with sun and temperatures in the high 70’s.

Wonderful! It’s moving into winter here, the leaves are mostly one the ground and turning dark, so it’s nice to see more autumn photos 🙂

Thanks, Aine. With all the WordPress bloggers across the globe, this is a good way to extend a season 🙂 Our rains are supposed to start later this week, so I’m sure glad I got these photos prior to that.

      • Áine Warren says:

Very true, I love seeing all the photographs from around the world. Our rain is pretty much constant so I guess that’s one of the reasons why our golden-leaves-phase is so short-lived! This year was a particularly beautiful year, though.

  4. Amy says:

    Gorgeous red leaves. Fab. shots!

  5. Madhu says:

Wow indeed! I have never seen foliage this colour ever! Love the reflection.

  6. You said the colour you saw on your weekend away was intense – it’s almost psychedelic! Fantastic Angeline 🙂

This is really fine. Especially the second picture.
