Thank you! That couple will always have that wonderful memory of such a beautiful place to be married. You and your wife can repeat your vows by the sea the next time you go back home š

Thanks, Amy. It was fun watching the photographer setting the newlyweds up for their photos. And the sculpture is a favorite of mine.

It is a beautiful place for a wedding. There is a gorgeous restaurant there, called Le Kliff, that is on a promontory overlooking the ocean; they have posted some photos of weddings and receptions there that are spectacular.

Dream location for one’s dream day – and to think R and I had a barbecue in the backyard of the share house we lived in š Perhaps we were a bit too laid back about it in those laid-back 70s. š

And perhaps you enjoyed your day a little more comfortably than some of the trussed and corseted brides of today š
It is a wonderful destination place for a wedding, but the stress has got to be high.

I certainly enjoyed it a great deal – went to work till lunchtime! But on the other hand, the marriage only lasted 20 years, so perhaps we should have invested more in its beginning?

Nope. Don’t think a fancy ceremony and clothes make for any long lasting commitments. So,it’s good you enjoyed it for the time you could.
