Day 312; Swirls and Pine Leaves

It was twenty degrees cooler today than it has been here lately. Fall is finally in the air. Pine trees that border one side of our back yard are dropping little leaves here and there, leaving these two on a bench under the trees.

  4. That must be a relief = as much as we enjoy it in the summertime, at the beach, you get a bit sick and tired of 100 degrees, don’t you? What fun you can begin feeling that excitement of brisk frosty mornings and bright warm autumn sunshine πŸ™‚
Oh, and the pine needles are cute, like two turtle doves …

A wonderful relief, indeed! Sick of the 100 degrees, and the glaring sunlight! Autumn sunshine just feels softer. We’ll have brisk mornings, but the frosty part won’t arrive until about December…maybe.
I’ll have to monitor that bench and patio area to see what other designs the pine needles decide to present.

      • It’s really very mild, then where you are? I don’t suppose that’s so bad, especially in the morning, when you have to get up for work πŸ™‚

It is pretty mild. We have mornings in December and January where it gets down to mid or low 30s, and daytime 50s to 60s. No snow in the flat lands, sometimes on the mountain tops around us. Really, all in all, pretty nice most of the time.

      • I’m very sensitive to weather, just now – all those months, thinking about where to go, back in Oz, weather was a really important consideration! Too cold, too hot, too dry, too wet, too much wind … such a rarified greenhouse creature I’ve become πŸ™‚

At least it’s good you could consider places and make a choice. That’s a good thing!

Oh yes, aren’t I lucky – just spoiled for choice there, for a while … πŸ™‚
