Our local theater and art center was having an open house. Cartoons were being run throughout the afternoon to allow people to come in to the theater part of the building, and cool off for a while. The small theater is used mostly for live shows and some old-time movies at the holidays.
At first I thought the cowgirls had come in from one of the nearby ranches, and they may have, but what struck me as funny as I listened in on their conversation, was that they were speaking French. Excellent French, in fact; no trace of an American accent at all, so I guess they may have been visiting cowgirls from France.
