I walked down the path that leads to the road out of our housing development. The path faces west, and open fields and hills. I took the photo above from a ways back on the path, using the zoom on my Canon. I couldn’t really clearly see what I was shooting, and hadn’t thought much about how the setting sun would look using a zoom.
It’s starting to feel like fall
colorful 🙂

Great colors. I love the first one for the sunset itself – beautifully captured, but the second one shows wonderfully the effect of the sunset. It is like there is a big fire at the end of the road.

Thanks Imelda. That sun, zoomed in on, is amazing to me as well, I didn’t know a zoom lens could do that. The second one…nature’s lighting.

Thanks. Those trees are lovely. I’ve taken photos of them during the day, but with this twilight light, they do look magical.
