The Oakland, CA Marriott was renovated recently with a jazz theme. I found this guitar there next to their Twlevebar.
I’m not sure if this belonged to someone special or not, but it’s quite beautiful. The craftsmanship, and the wood make me wonder at the sound that must come out of that guitar. Too bad it’s encased in plexiglass, and not in the hands of someone, putting it to good use.
The next shot is of our guitar at home that belongs to my husband; he bought this guitar in Washington, D.C. soon after we were married…..it has a lot of history with us; parties with friends, and evenings home alone together enjoying the music. Each guitar has a story to tell.
Challenge created by Frizztext http://flickrcomments.wordpress.com/2012/08/14/story-challenge-letter-g/ …..I dedicate this song to you, Frizz, and may you play many more tunes on your guitar.
This is my husband’s favorite to play http://youtu.be/oTXa6FFnPI0

Yes, I agree with you… the most beautiful guitar is in the hands of a player.
