The birds start hitting the pool around 3:00 every afternoon. I hear them in the trees around the patio in the morning, and then they disappear; until school’s out, and it’s time for some fun I guess.
I used my Canon with zoom, from an upstairs bedroom window, to catch my little feathered friends in the bath.
These are absolutely delightful 🙂

Thanks Shimon. Glad you like them. I love my little birdie friends, and to watch their antics in the water.

Love the thought of you lurking at upstairs windows too, shooting the wildlife as it goes about its business. I’m sure those dear little birds are overjoyed you’ve provided them with a bathing pool to cool off during the worst of the heat. Love the fellow, all ruffled up, shaking the water out of his feathers – just wonderful:)

I have to move up to the window slowly with my camera, they must have very keen eyesight because any sudden movement on my part, and they’re off. And the distance isn’t close. I love watching them, and I do think they love that pool.
