A quick trip anywhere always seems to result in stopping to take photos. There is no such thing as making a short little trip to the store for a quart of milk; there always seems to be a photo-op along the way. I’ve seen these sheep in a nearby field in my comings and goings for weeks now. Today was the day I couldn’t stand it any longer, and pulled over to take some photos.

The sheep shots and their context are amazing, Angeline! Where are they, and you?

The sheep are in a field along side a rural road that leads in to a freeway; the field is just down the road from where I live. I’m in Northern California, 60 miles east of San Francisco.

Thanks, Amy. The sheep dog looked at me once, and then his eyes stayed constant on those sheep.

Thank you, Shimon. These sheep are chubby little things of wool and curiosity.

Envy you the amazing things you come across on your trip to the store!! All I get to see are cars, cars and more cars 😦

This area is definitely different from most…I think the cows, horses, and sheep outnumber the cars 🙂
