And Eve looked up into the light of the new day, and the peach summoned her to pluck it off the limb.
“I am juicy, and oh so sweet”, said the peach to Eve, won’t you have a taste?
“Adam,” Eve said, “I think you’re going to like this”.
And thus began the first peach pie.
Ice cream didn’t come along until later, so Eve had no idea how good it could really be.
A fable without a moral is fun. And that’s how we got in to this predicament we’re all in.
