Windmills. Spinning today in the wind. Like my mind. A birthday approaches in a few days; it’s a major number of years that seems to have crept up on me. But how can that many years creep up on a person? I don’t know the answer, but they have, and I find myself in a very reflective state of mind. I’m torn between wanting to go to bed and pulling the covers over my head, going out to party, or running away and joining the circus.
I think I’ll party, that seems to be my best option. I’ll get my dancing shoes ready.
