Project 365, Day 153; The Horse Stands Alone

I saw the horse again today. Same story as last time…driving down the road, and see her too late to stop. And I did the same thing again, went down the road a ways, turned around and came back.

There she was, watching the cars go by; the brown mare I had seen the cowboy brushing a couple of weeks ago.

She was only mildly interested in me

After all, we’d only just met

She told me to come back, and maybe the cowboy would be there next time.

We said our goodbyes
