Looked out a window as I was about to get in the car to run some errands at noon today; it was looking rather dark and menacing outside
I turned away from the car door, and went over by the window to see a bird zoom across the yard into the safety of a big pine tree with huge leafy branches; and the first fat drops of rain began to come down. I’m glad I hadn’t left the house before the deluge started. I’d hate to be caught scurrying along a sidewalk getting all wet.
I found out later that there had been a tornado just fifteen miles from here.

I love the rain…so long as I am not actually standing in it.

Thanks Madhu. I can’t believe how dark it got for a while. The rain included hail, and was really something.

Nice close up shot of the rain. Always seems to bring out the snails too!

Thanks A. That’s my pet snail…he starred in another post also. I’m going to have to come up with a name for him.

No one was injured, and thank God, little damage; it came and went quickly. Thanks for your concern, and thanks for taking the time to comment.

I hope you and your family are safe. Tornados and all natural calamities are scary and turn our world upside down. Thank you for sharing this post and for the recent comment. Even if the world may be gray, cold, or rainy….we can always feel sunshine and joy in our hearts. All we need is to light it up with love. As for your comment, you read my mind. If it’s God’s will, I hope it happens soon…take care.
